John & Fanny Rossiter From Child Okeford

Hi,

I am looking for information about John Apward Rossiter and his wife Fanny. I know that they had at least one child, Mary, christened in Child Okeford on September 12th 1790.

I am particularly interested in their parents and other children.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

My gr.gr.gr. grandmother was Fanny Rossiter. Fanny was born about 1794 in Dorsetshire England. She married Robert Young and moved to the United States and then to Canada. Fanny passed away April 9,1863 in Sarnia Ontario Canada. She named her children Fanny, Sarah, John, Samuel, Edward, and William. I know that Fanny Young my gr.gr. grandmother and two of her brothers came to the U.S.

My great great grandmother Fanny wrote that her uncle Rossiter was a wealthy man. I have no proof yet but ther may be a connectio to John Rossiter of Child Okeford.

Lydia Rossiter Young born 12th August 1822 Baptised on 17.9.1822 at Holy Trinity Wesleyan Methodist, Shaftesbury, Dorset, England
Sarah Rossiter Young born 12th August 1822 Baptised on 17.9.1822 at Holy Trinity Wesleyan Methodist, Shaftesbury, Dorset, England
Fanny Young born 12th April 1823 died July 9th 1873
Willim Rossiter Young born 12th July 1824 Baptised on 13.10.1824 at Holy Trinity Wesleyan Methodist, Shaftesbury, Dorset, England
Edward Young born 1831 died June 5th 1875

I'd appreciate it too if you could post any details you have of Robert Young and Frances Rossiter please in the hope I can connect Frances to her Dorset ancestors.
