Thanks all. I haven't been very active lately - summer, boating, travel & now my own personal genealogy crisis |sad1|

Last month my Family Tree Maker Version 11 died. Actually I think Vista killed it slowly as it now appears that nothing was actually being saved to C drive since July 2007, even though it appeared to be fine - until last month. I backed up the file & merged 3 or 4 duplicate entries. The back-up reverted to about 2007 & so did the main program. Several thousand people were dumped into cyberspace, never to be seen again.
I now have Legacy 7.0 & am struggling with both the unfamiliar program & with wondering where the @%$# to start re-entering from paper & word document data. I am also checking the correctness of the people that I have left- since many additions & corrections were made over the 2 year period. |banghead|

Anyone good with Legacy 7.0 interested in flying to Bothell for data entry ? |help|

Sorry you lost your data and hope you get it sorted out soon! When you get done maybe you should try tribal pages - at least it will be safe and you can up/download Gedcoms from FTM and Legends.
