Hi im looking for any info on
Polly Coote Born 1857 Risebridge,Cambridgeshire
She was the daughter of George Coote 1836,Elizabeth Wilkin 1838
Her brothers and sisters were
Edward William Coote Born 1860 Horningsea,married Emma (unknown surname)
Charles Coote Born 1863 Horningsea died 1937 Cambridgeshire
Frederick Coote born 1864 Chesterton married Mary E (unknown surname)
Adelaide Coote born 1867 Horningsea died 1892 Cambridgeshire
Mary Ann Fanny Coote born 1870 Chesterton died 1892 Cambridgeshire
George William Coote born 1874 Horningsea (all i know of him)
Leetice Coote born 1876 Chesterton died 1878 Cambridgeshire

If anyone has any info on any of this family,would be nice to hear from you

Risbridge is a registration district that covers parts of three counties: Cambridgeshire, Essex and Suffolk. Therefore, Polly may have been born in any of these places (http://www.ukbmd.org.uk/genuki/reg/districts/risbridge.html).

Have you found her in the 1861 census? If so, where does it say that she was born?

Nope i cant seem to find her in the census,as in the 1861 census she isnt with her mother and father only Edward is

Cannot find her in any of the cenus with her family so mayne she wasnt one of there children (was told she was and thought id try n check it out)

Polly is often a nickname for Mary,
there is a Mary Coote birth registered in Sept 1855 in Risbridge, Cambridgeshire. 4a/335

There is also a death for a Mary Coote in Risbridge in June 1861 so perhaps that little lass did not survive though I cannot find her on the 1861 census. Sadly ages are not given at death then.

George and Elizabeth are on the same page as being married in the March quarter of 1860, Chesterton district, volume 3b, page 683, so I doubt that the Polly that was born in 1857 was theirs.

I like to double check everything before i add,was told Polly was there daughter by a ancestry member but when i couldnt find anything thats when i started to have doubts
