Howe family of Dorset

I am researching the Howe family of Dorest. My husband's great grandfather was Thomas Howe born 7 June 1860 Kesworth Farm, Wareham, Dorset. His parents were Thomas Howe and Mary Ann Loveless. Thomas senior was a shepherd born in 1828 in Upwey. He moved from farm to farm and his last few years were spent at Dean Hill Cottage in Studland. He did in 1909

Thomas junior moved to Newfoundland when he was only 17 years old.

I have quite a bit of information on this family and would love to share this information with others researching the same family.

I was really interested in your post, as I know thus so far, Thomas Howe, who had moved to Newfoundland when he was 17, is related to me in some way. Not quite sure, but I believe that he was the father of my grandfather, ... I am stan Howe, the son of Harold Howe, and the grandson of Thomas Howe... I am so puzzled about everything at this point, but I remember that my uncles have told me that we are related to the man who surveyed Gander trails..

Any information prior to this, I have none..

I believe Thomas Howe of Dorset (who moved to Newfoundland at the age of 17) was your great great grandfather that is if your grandfather was Thomas Howe born 13 Jan 1907 in Brooklyn, Newfoundland and died on 5 July 1990 in Corner Brook. If this is correct then the elder Thomas Howe was indeed your great great grandfather. Your great grandfather was Alberto (Bert) Loveless Howe.

I have been researching the family for a number of years. Thomas Howe of Dorset was my husband's great grandfather. He died in Port Blandford, Newfoundland.

We actually went to Dorset a couple of years ago and did a lot of research on the Howe family while we were there.
