Dear All

I have found an entry for George Simpson on the NBI and it says he was an Anglican buried at Farndon, Dedication St Peter. Looking at the NFHS fiche collection I can have MIs for either Farndon or Farndon Cemetery (not on the same fiche of course - Murphy's law).

The burial was in August 1867. So, my question is are they the same place (not likely if NFHS has 2 separate fiches) and if not - which one might I find George in?

Thanks Sue:)

Just looked at the map for Farndon (had too as it is a long while since I driven through it) and the church is separated from the cemetery by a good half a kilometre.
I am guessing that the Farndon fiche would be the one to go for. As you said 'buried at Farndon, Dedication St Peter' which to me indicate the churchyard and not the cemetery

Thanks Neil - this is a long shot - hoping to find something on George - but not holding my breath!
