If anyone has access to the Marwood registers for this time period, would appreciate a look-up for JOHN TUCKER my 3x great grandfather. Common name, so there may be more than one! Thank you. Evelyn

this might be of help to you, on 1841 census for middle marwood
william tucker 35 ag lab mary 30 mary 10 elizabeth 8 agnes ? 5 ( not sure of name) jane 4 john 1 john 65 could they be related?

also john 15 living hartnoll marwood
in boyds marriage index 1804 I found john tucker and mary crocker marwood
I live a few miles away but will willing go to church and look for graves if that is of any help (when the weather is better)

Thank you Ann for replying to my post. I am looking for a John Tucker who was BORN 1808/1809 in Marwood parish. I have found his marriage, etc. but not his christening so am stuck to go back any further. Thanks for your reply and I will keep the info just in case it 'fits' later.
