I am up against a "brickwall" with Francis Hogg's Father.
Francis was born in Irthington in 1812 (He states on all of the later census entries) He married Sarah Nixon at Lanercost in 1835, being 1835 there is no father's name given in the Parish Register.
Any help in locating his errant father would be greatly appreciated
