Still desperately seeking my great grandfather Benjamin EDMONDS, born 1827 in Newmarket according to the censuses of 1871 to 1901. By 1866 he was in Benhall in Suffolk. His father was called Samuel EDMONDS or EDMUNDS, a cabinet maker, possibly born in Norwich.
It is possible that either or both of them were in Newmarket and/or Cambridgeshire in 1841, '51 or '61..... and they have not been found in Suffolk, as yet. Any help would be very much appreciated.

While researching my mother's family, in particular her grandfather Walter Charles Edmonds, I found a Walter Charles in Queenstown Co. Cork Ireland, who originated in Kimpton Hampshire. He had connections with the Navy and Lighthouse service I believe. Here the plot thickens.
His father also Walter Charles was born around 1850 in Somerstown St Pancras. His siblings were Henry, William, and Adolphus (the latter died in St Saviour's Southwark).
Has anyone any insight or connections to these Edmonds?
