Researching BERRYMAN (from Ludgvan, Gulval, Towednack-Cornwall) and all related links. Also am researching HOLLOWAY (from Worcester) and PHILLIPS (from Yeovil, Somerset). My CLARK (England or Scotland?) married a BERRYMAN in Canada. Would like to obtain info on the CLARK side.

Hi Jancolo, What was your Clark ancestors name? Do you have the Clark and Berryman marriage certificate from Canada? Marriage certifcates normally give the parents names and the bride and grooms usual residence. Then check the census of that time to see who else lived at the usual residence.

You could check for the Clark in www.ellisisland.org this is the American immgration site if his name was a little different you may find his birth place or if you know where he went in Canada how he got there. (Register as a free user) You may find out if he was travelling with anyone else.

Clark was common in Scotland (Particularly this spelling) but also they were all through England. I think you need to do a little detective work on that one.
