Mary is looking for information on Edward and Maria (nee Richardson) who lived at Buttons Farm.

Here is the MI from St Peters & St Pauls
In loving memory of Edward Butler of Buttons Farm in this Parish who died
October 20th 1878 aged 69 also Maria who died in London 12th * 1888 aged
77 years.

"The Butlers were originally from Lincolnshire - both Edward & Maria, and
all their children (6) were born in Lincolnshire

dau Susannah married a man from Staffordshire (Hargreaves) & they settled
in London
son Geo Edw was a chemist/druggist in Tonbridge Kent (his wife was born in
LIncs)
son John - ??
dau Alice married a Butler cousin from Lincs & moved back there
son Edwin married a woman from Kent & he became a publican in Sevenoaks
(although son William may have been born in Wadhurst in 1882)
dau Rebecca married the brother of Edwin's wife & they settled in Croydon
Surrey (although son Edward Blinks may have been born in Wadhurst in 1880)


I am not sure why they moved to Sussex in the first place"
