Hi

This week I got the Marr certificate for George RIMELL and Elizabeth BLOXSOME, Feb 1839

Now I was hopiing his Father's name would be there, ...........disappointment, her Father was there, not his

So, new tack, he is in 1851 census as born Weston S......this would be about 1820 ish, does any one have access to the PR's.and can see if George is there, ..............or is it a trip to Gloucester for me

I can't help with the parish register, but it would appear possible that George may have been illegitimate as there was no Father's name on his marriage certificate. I had a look on the 1841 census to see if perhaps there was any sign of a parent with him, but no luck. However, he was in Saintbury then, HO 107/360/38, folio 5, page 5:

George RIMELL 21 La
Elizabeth do 21
Sarah do 1

All born in the county.

Sorry not to have been of more help.

Janet.

Trying to trace any of the Bloxsome, from North Nibley, Gloucester.

Oswald Bloxsome b1802 from Dursley is my 4th Great Grandfather. Would love to hear from anyone with his family in their tree, and maybe we could swop information.

Best Regards
