For some time I have been struggling to find out any information at all about my grandfather's sister Amy Jones but at last I have had a small breakthrough.
Amy Jones was born in 1895 in Aston, Birmingham the daughter of William Jones & Fanny Jones (nee Dallow). William died in 1903 & Fanny died in 1906 after which their six children were separated and taken in by various family members. I do not know which family group took care of Amy.
I have now learned that Amy married (but sadly I do not know her married name) and she lived in Chester. It is known that she had one daughter named Eva but it may be possible that other children may have been born too. Eva eventually moved to live in High Wickham.
If anyone knows of an Amy Jones who married & lived in Chester and had a daughter named Eva I would be very grateful for any help please.

This has been my brick wall for many years & I am now very pleased to say that I have now been able to demolish that wall!!
I have been very lucky & have been able to now discover where Amy & Eva went to & what became of them.
Thank you all for your help.
