Just wanted to remind folks that if anybody is beginning researching Dublin,
www.dublinheritage.ie offer an electoral list for Dublin only for the years 1939 - 1940. I have found this great for tracking down some of my relatives.
In case some folks are unaware www.pilotsearch.org offer indexed birth, marriage, death, census and other records, worldwide. This too is invaluable as I was able to trace two birth records for my Uncles who died shortly after birth, also the death of an Auntie who died age 3yrs, my Mum was unsure of the date she died as she died before she was born. So now she is able to honour if that's the word to use, her Anniversary.
Also incase people are unaware the 1911 census for Ireland now covers Antrim, Down, Dublin and Kerry. This too has been invaluable and very user friendly.
