have I replied?

Hi there, I think today I am being particularly inept where computers are concerned |blush|

I had a private message which I replied to at length. I then went off and did something else for an hour or so.

When I came back, it looked as though I had another unread PM but when I read it, it was the same one. Is there any way to check that I did actually reply to this message? If I didn't, I will know I'm going mad........

Look in you "sent" inbox?

When you click on Private Messages in the top right of the screen there is a Jump to Folder menu (default is Inbox) Click on the Menu arrow and you should see Sent Items. If that reads 0, then it didn't get sent!

I think what you probably did when you came back to the forum was press the back button to the list of new posts you had been working through. I've done that before, but of course it just shows you the page you looked at before, complete with notification of unread message!
