Can anyone please help me with two Bodmin births/baptisms
Samuel Crabb 1811
Eliza Crabb 1818
Who were their parents ?

Birth: 02 FEB 1811
Christening: 03 MAR 1811 Falmouth, Cornwall, England
Father: GEORGE CRABB
Mother: ELIZABETH
This is all I could find on the IGI

The entries were in the Cornish Mining Index 1995.
Samuel may have the full name of Samuel Stephens Crabb.
On the census he gives his birthplace as Bodmin. He was an innkeeper there and then became a mining agent and adventurer.

Thanks for all those.
I wonder why Samuel was so adamant that he was born Bodmin.
Mind you I have had rellies who have said that they were born X but you find they were baptised at their grandparents parish or something. So perhaps Samuel was born somewhere else and the family moved to Bodmin when he was very young and brought up there so he assumed he was born there.
I must look at the Falmouth Group.

I have the Bodmin parish film in at the local LDS family history center.I will be there next Thurs.July 08 and I will look for that for you.ettel1952
