Hi Everyone

I have returned to trying to find Robert Barrie Liddell, born 1858 Scotland.

He is reputed to have deserted his wife and 9 children in the early 1900s and disappeared to America.

Having ruled out other possible passengers via New York I am interested by the Robert Liddell who I think travelled from Glasgow to Boston in August 1906.

Could someone with access to the full record on A***** or a subscription to FMP please tell me what the full record tells us about him is there anything to confirm this could be our man?

I am sorry I can't afford a US subscription for A***** at the moment!

Many thanks in advance.

Sarah

Hi Sue

Thanks ever so much for that - doesn't seem likely to be our man, he did have a younger brother James however so I will do some work on him and see if he was in the UK or not.

I fear its a case of gradually ruling out possibles rather than finding likelys - thanks for your help.
