Swan - Marriage,St Benedicts c1780

Seeking marriage of John Swan & Frances ? (Also require her maiden name).Their five children that i am aware of,were christened at St Benedicts between 1783-91.Both John & Frances died in the parish in the 1820s.

Boyd's has a JN Swan and Fran Turner marrying in 1782 Holy Trinity Cambridgeshire.

As an aside I have a Susannah Swann as witness to a marriage in St Wendreda's church in March Cambs, 17/10/1820 between William Cousins and Eliza Powers. (Other witness Phebe Cunnington)

Hi,

I have the Phillimores Marriage Index which covers most of the Cambridge churches (but not Holy Trinity I'm afraid), so if you give names of the children I might be able to help you. There is a marriage at St Benedict's on 25 December 1811 between a Samuel LINSELL of Finchingfield, Essex and Sophia SWAN, by licence. Is she one of yours??
