Gormans -Birkenhead

I am researching my fathers family. His father Patrick Joseph Gorman was born in Birkenhead 1916. He left the area when he served in WW2. He then lived in Scotland where he married my grandmother.

His father was Joseph Gorman. He married Mary Moore 1901.

I don't have further info of these families although I know some family remained in Birkenhead at the time of my Grandfathers death (1996).

Can anyone help me with information of this family.

Hi Trish,

Thanks for both your replies.
I have managed to get an order form for the marriage cert so that should get me somewhere, hopefully. The 1901 census might be the right Joseph. i think the 1891 one, is a bit too old.
