I have a conundrum. William Light married Fanny Abbott in Essex in 1875, had William George in 1878 in Stafford but came back to Essex to have Frances E in 1881.
What was that about? I cannot find any other siblings but cannot understand why an Ag lab would live in Essex, go to Staffordshire, have a child and come back a couple of years later and be an Ag lab again. If anyone has any suggestions about how I could dig about on that a bit it would be appreciated. The family then stayed in Essex ever after.

Hi Sue,perhaps the Father heard of work in an area he thought would be betterfor his Family, or maybe a holiday presented an unexpected birth.

I have similar in some of my Families,mostly in the Leather trade.One from Bermondsey had 4 children in that area next one in Lincolnshire, next one Sydenham,London next one "Bootle" Lancs, then back to Bermondsey.

Perhaps it was just the wife who travelled about. Nice that they got about a bit wot? :D
