Help please...
How would I find information about two farmers in Spring Boone Illinois.
Their names were Thomas Habgood and Charley Burrows and they are shown as Farmers on the 1880 USA Census. They left Gloucestershire for America sometime between the 1871 UK census and the 1880 USA Census.

Hello,
Thomas & Charley seem to have disappeared after the 1880 census. I checked the 1900 and 1910 census and didn't see them.
May I recommend that you check on the Canadian forums (I don't have access to passenger lists for Canada)? There are some Hapgoods and Burrows who went to Canada. They may have emigrated from the USA to Canada.
Good luck with your search.

These are your Burrows & Hapgood men in 1880?
Thomas Habgood, head, 40
Alice Habgood, wife, 35
Charley Burrows, brother in law, 38
Mary Ann Burrows, sister in law, 42
Spring, Boone, Illinois
All four persons born England, marital status (s/m/w) not recorded on this census.
and so, 1900 US census
I think these are your Burrows:
Charles C Burrows, head, unmarried, b Nov 1841, 58, immigr 1873, farmer
Ned(?) Burrows. brother, b Apr 1838, married (30 years), age 62, immigr 1885, naturalized, farm labourer
Mary A Burrows. sister, b. Aug 1835, 64, single, immigr 1874.
Charly Parks, servant, 28, born Pennsylvania.
Genoa, Dekalb, Illinois
Roll: T623_296 Page: 5A; Enumeration District: 8
I'll look for the Hapgoods + later census records.
