We ordered some furniture for the bedroom which duly arrived my husband was on hand to take delivery. Walnut style in colour delivery driver dropped and damaged one of the wardrobe doors so new one coming in about 5 weeks.
So last Friday we decided to have a day putting the furniture together 2 wardrobes and 2 chest of draws.
We struggled down stairs with the old furniture nearly squashing said son and heir up against the wall in the process.
Then On checking the chest of draws we found we have 2 different colours instead of one 2 new sets will be coming in 4 weeks.
So got over the disappointment and got on with assembling wardrobes 1st one went like a dream. No 2 was going great until hubby hammered the wooden dowls through the sides of this wardrobe. Luckily its at the bottom and we have saved the bits to stick on! They look very nice even though one has only 1 door on it.
Tomorrow we are having a new kitchen delivered the fitter is coming on Monday I am dreading it they rang today to say fridge and cooker hood will come next week instead.
Could be arriving as early as 7.30am! I wouldnt mind but its my day off.
I am dreading it we shall have the list in hand I will be checking everything as it is delivered and woe betide the deliveryman if he drops anything! At least its a different company.|scold|

Good luck with fitting your new kitchen. I hope all the bits and bobs are there for you.

Hope you don't do what my friend did with his new kitchen and bathroom. He took a photo every day and bored us to death. It must have took this builder 5 weeks to complete, although it looks like a showhome now
