Hi Lorraine,

Well, basically you have started a new thread, but before you post any more information just make sure that you are posting it in the correct forum.
For instance this forum underneath the main heading of 'Certificates - BMD in the UK' says 'advice on obtainin certifcates, what do they contain, where are the indexes?' So if you have a query about a birth in 1832, don't post the query here, because civil registration of births (and marriages and deaths) didn't begin until July 1st 1837 so all you *might* find before then is a baptism record. (I say might because not everyone was baptised.)
Baptism records will be found in parish registers and are best posted in the first instance to the relevant county forum. In your case, Northants.
Just click on 'new thread' in the forum you want.
In your heading/message you should put the name in capitals so that there is no misunderstanding over which is the name and which is the place. (and don't forget to separate the words in the heading:) )
