I wondered if SKS might check NZ Death indices for the death of a Georgina Noble GAIR.
Georgina was born at Tain in 1822. Parents Capt Kenneth SCOBIE & Elizabeth Henrietta NOBLE.
She married James GAIR who was at that time a bank agent in Gospie.
They emigrated to Port Phillip Australia in 1853.
More children were born in Melbourne, Victoria.
James died in 1874 in Victoria.
Georgina was still living in Victoria in 1881 when her sister Elizabeth GAIR nee SCOBIE died in Tain....after which time I've "lost" her.
I think some children emigrated to NZ.
Her older sister Mary Ann Mackenzie was living in Anderson's Bay, New Zealand.
