Most do it using photobucket.

See this thread (http://www.british-genealogy.com/forums/showthread.php?t=30819) for assistance.

Sorry, I'm confused. :)

You need to upload your photo to photobucket and then following the steps in the linked thread you should be able to post the link from photobucket into your post on this site.

That then links back to photobucket and the image appears here.

I did just try to get onto photobucket and it is down for service at the moment though.

What are the dates on it? Bit hard to read in the image.

What is on the other side?

Hi Doug and Buttonsinoz, looks like 1945-1960 or66, at the top is a star, could be Russian also the soldier in the middle has a Russian Burp Gun. (can't remember what they were called but they had a cylindrical magazine)
Hugh.

I thought it looked like 1945 to a later date also - which of course makes it non WWII.

OK. Found it:

Russian medal, 1945-1985, 40th Anniversary of Victory in WWII, with red, green, yellow and black ribbon.

Do a search on Google for: Russian medal, 1945-1985

There is at least one available on ebay.
