Anyone who knew or knows the Ward family from Hove Sussex. I am researching Major Patrick Vernon Ward MC & Bar Royal Tank Corp. He died aged 27 on the 27th of July 1944 outside Caen France. I have tried Kew records, the Tank Museum and the regimental Reunion clubs.

You don't mention whether you are trying to trace descendents or ancestry. If ancestry then the CWGC website records his parents names which can be confirmed from the chap's birth certificate.
