Looking for Thomas Shaw born Tintwistle

I wondered if you could help? My Thomas Shaw was born in Tintwistle C:1845
I've received his marriage certificate ...

Nov 17th 1873
Thomas SHAW - 25 - bachelor - Slater - Ashton - William Shaw - Slater
Alice Ann TAYLOR - 23 - Spinster - Ashton - Thomas Taylor - Miner
after Banns - witnesses were Henry Fallows & Hannah Fallows

and I have found the family on the 1861 Census ...

10 Wittington Court, Ashton Town, Ashton-under-Lyne, Lancashire
William Shaw - Head - Mar - 54 - Slater - Vale House, Cheshire
William Shaw - Son - Um - 23 - Factory Operative - Tintwistle, Cheshire
Mary Shaw - Daur - Um - 19 - Ditto - Tintwistle, Cheshire
Thomas Shaw - Son - Um - 16 - Ditto - Tintwistle, Cheshire
Hannah Shaw - Daur - Um - 14 - Ditto - Ashton-under-Lyne, Lancashire
Mary Ann Arkright - Serv - Mar - 41 - Huddersfield, Yorkshire

I can't find them in 1851 or 1871 and there doesn't seem to be anything on the IGI.

I seem to have lots of information after the marriage but nothing before. Can anyone help please? Also could SKS tell me what the registration district would be for Tintwistle please so I can try and locate a birth certificate. Thank you in advance for any help.

I believe the registration district for Tintwistle is Ashton-u-Lyne

Just in case your research will be coming forward, Tintwistle has actually been in three RDs.

AuL was the original RD for Tintwistle, from 1837 to 1937 when it changed to Hyde until 1974. From 1974 (following local government reorganisation when Tintwistle moved into Derbyshire from Cheshire) the RD for Tintwistle has been High Peak.
