I would be really grateful if some kind person could look the following people up on the 1861 census for me.

Here they are as on the 1851 census:

John Taylor aged 33 Cordwainer born Redmarley
Ann Taylor aged 33 Dressmaker born Staunton
William Taylor aged 5 Scholar born Redmarley
Mary Taylor aged 2 born Stroud
Martha Taylor aged 3 months born Arlingham

In 1851 they were living in Arlingham and in 1871 William was living in Stroud with his new wife Lucy, so I would think they would be living around those areas.

Thank you

Rebecca

Hi
I have just started my Husbands Fam tree, his gt grandmother was Annie Taylor b 1893, daughter of John Taylor and Esther. They were from Dymock/Redmarley area. Do you know if your John & Ann Taylor had a child called John who married a Esther?
Cheers
Sue

I would just like to say thank you for replying to this post ..... unfortunately, I have only just seen your replies ... I had no notification that you had replied.

Procat - thank you for taking the time to look up the Taylors for me, the results are very useful!

Suebartlett - I haven't done a lot of research on the Taylors so far, but I will contact you if I come across your Annie Taylor.

Thank you both once again, and I apologise for not acknowledging your replies earlier!
