Remember the rumpus in January when both of our 'favourite' family history sites were playing up and being inaccessible at the same time?

Following my grouchy (but polite) email to fmp on 25th January, they have today awarded me four extra days on my subscription as compensation. It's better than a kick in the teeth!

Now, about getting some more counties on the 1851 census .................. |bowdown|

Very frustrating today. Five minutes to download an 1841 census image. This is why I use fmp as a backup to ancestry and not as my primary site.

I did for The Genealogist but it was valid as the credits I used trying to see a household on a census yielded nothing, even though my subject was listed as MIL to HEAD! I also made a point about their advanced search costing me credits just by clicking on the link.

To their credit they gave me 10 more credits to use. Giving creedence to Sue's point!
