Hi looking for any information on the Hartigan Family in Limerick possibly around Cappagh
Father Cornelius Hartigan (he was a steward according to Ellens's marr cert.)
mother Margaret nee Stokes
children Ellen b c 1834
Mary (unsure of birth)

Hi,
I have a Margaret/Mary Hartigan in my tree...I believe she married a Horton.
I do not have parents for her yet nor husbands first name

My Margaret was transported to Australia in 1839, she was convicted of stealing some blankets and sentenced to 3 months imprisonment in Limerick Gaol...she requested 7years transportation instead.

sorry, no connection I have their family in Australia just wanting to go backwards. Did she go to New South Wales or Tasmania?
