I am helping a friend with their family tree and we have come across a John Wrenn born in Limerick 1872. On the 1911 census John is living in Saford, Lancashire. Any information on John Wrenn would be gratefully accepted as would any advice on how to trace the family in Ireland back from 1870. |banghead|

I see that the 1911 census listing for that address has wife Bridget 38, & five children ages 1 to 9. Where are the wife & children born?

Hello Adele,
All the children were born in Salford....one named Patrick had died aged 6. A John Wren from Ireland is listed as living in Blackburn in 1901. I have found a birth in Limerick of a John Wren in 1872, but it is so expensive to get the details!! Many thanks for your interest. |wave|
