Hi all, after weeks of searching and asking the family questions i am still not further than i was 5 months ago and wondered if anyone could help or point me in the right direction.
Arthur Jones is my gt grandfather, born glamorgan, god knows when, havent a clue who he married, aunt says possibly her surname was Lloyd? Her 1st name was Welsh, yep, that narrows it down! They had 4 live children, Ronald L Jones, my grandfather married Watts, got the reg(now deceased) George, Alice married howells(now deceased) and Anthony. All born Measteg, CAEURAU area nr Bridgend, if i knew for definate the exact dob of my grandfather this would be simple, all i know he was about 4 years older than my grandmother who was born 1926. Dont want to put Anthony or George's married details as they are still alive.
Can anyone point me in the right direction, i have just finished my 14 day free trial on you know what and got nowhere because of the limited information i have.
The amount of Ronald L Jones born in was in that time frame is just huge.

There is a birth registration in Neath (spans the boundaries of the counties of Breconshire and Glamorgan) for Ronald L Jones Mar Qtr 1921, mother's name Lloyd, Neath RD, Vol 11a Page 2003

Forgot to say, you can search BMD's on FreeBMD website.

You might find some leads.

Hi Michael, in my family anything is a possibility! I have a list as long as my arm of possible ones, am trying to get him linked to his brothers and sisters, i want to get his cert, but dont want to get the wrong one or 21 lol
Have tried searching for them, but if i know my welsh family, they very rarely use the name thats on the cert, instead using middle names. Have searched long and hard for Jones and Lloyd connection, but nothing fits. God my family like to keep me and everyone else busy.

If Anthony is still living, can you obtain his birth details, and then get a copy of the certificate. This will at least tell you the name of the mother, enabling you to find the registration for Ronald in Freebmd using mother's name in the search. Mothers name was included after July 1911.

Muppet aint i, will get my aunt to make a few enquiries for me, i cant personally as i dont know them, long story, family fueds and such, so will get auntie to ask and then introduce myself.
