I am trying to trace my Lock(e) ancestors who were a Romany family that travelled through Shropshire, Staffordshire, Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Monmouthshire. The period I am interested in is 1800-1900.

just to let you know Im also looking for Locke's from this area and that era. Ive only just discovered the romany link and that makes a lot of sense to me...
My grandfather is as far back as I can go...walter courtney parker Locke who lived in staffordshire..married to elizabeth..my dad , frank courtney locke was born in stoke on trent in 1925. thats all I know really..Ive only just found out about him , having never met him.
