John WELDON (or WHELDON) married Elizabeth Acklom at Beeford East Yorks in Nov 1798. I would like to find where John and Elizabeth were born and who their parents were. In 1809 they were at Long Whins, HUNMANBY North Yorks, so he may be from N Yks. They may be on an early census at Hunmanby, 1841, 1851
Also trying to trace on 1861 and 1871 census Eleanor Smailes WHELDON, born Scarborough 1843, and her illegitimate daughter Mary E Wheldon, born 1860 at Scarborough.
I would be grateful if anyone can look up census records for me.
Sheila Thompson

Hello Phil, I have only just looked at the message you posted over a month ago - apologies and many thanks, yes they are the right Wheldons, I did not know where Sarah and Octavia were, so the third set of census records was very welcome, thanks again. Sheila
