John Shannon?

I am trying to find information on John Shannon b.1837 in Raphoe,Co Donegal
he married Elizabeth Ann Midely b.1834,we don't know if they married in Ireland or after they immigrated to the U.S. John died on 08 Sept 1908 in LeClaire,Scott Co,Iowa,reportedly of old age. We know nothing of Elizabeth except she was born in 1834,any information would be greatly appreaciated

If you type brsgenealogy into google it will bring you up with the search for Irish records site. It is pay per view but you can search for free.

I have tried Midely but Elizabeth Ann does not appear. If she was born or married in Ireland she should do, so I think it will take some time trying variations of that name until you find a hit.

Of course, there are John Shannons in abundance ;)
