Photographers in Leicester 1870-95

I've come across some very old photographs taken between 1870-95 and processed by 3 different photographers in Leicester. I found it unusual that they all had their establishments on High Street. The oldest appears to be G. Betts, portrait & landscape photographer, 1 Hames Yard, High Street, Leicester. The next, W. Rowe, 82 High Street, Leicester and the last one is J. Wilson & Son, 32 High Street, Leicester. Does anyone have any information on these establishments as to when they were in business?

? In Burslem 1869.
Died in Poplar 1893.

Hi,
I've got a 1904 map of Leicester which lists occupants of most shops on the High Street. The only photographer on it is William John Heawood. However the address is given as Coronation Buildings which run from 76-88. Perhaps he took over from Mr Rowe. Hames Yard isn't listed and it's not a name I've heard before so it could be an error or just a very small and short-lived area.

I have 2 photographs taken between 1870 and 1882 with the photographers logo, name and graphics who is W. Rowe. Another photo was taken prior to 1878 probably around 1870-75 and the graphics are quite elaborate on the back and G. Betts the photographer's logo is within a logo type graphic.
