Searching for ancestors George E POWELL, birth reg Bicester Q2 1911

Hi,

I'm searching for information on a George E POWELL, whose birth was registered in Bicester, Oxon Q2 1911. He may well have been born in Bucknell. He married Mary THOMAS Q2 1941 Ploughley, had a son Melvyn in 1943, and died Q1 1941 (as did the son).

Any help on his ancestors would be much appreciated.

Bicester registration district covers a lot of parishes so you will have to wait for the birth certificate to confirm where George & family were living. Oxfordshire Family History Soc have transcribed parish registers onto cd, and if it does turn out that George was born in Bucknell, this parish is covered in the cd BIC02.
