I would like to hear from anyone connected to these villages, especially Heard, Denford, Westaway, Abell, Chudley or Chudleigh and Wilkins.

Hi! I just registered at this site. There's someone in Scotland whose looking to link with Chudleighs of Hatherleigh. Well, I'm descended from that Thomas Chudley and Peggy Camp ( Margaret Camp ) they were asking about. Hopefully you'll check this site again and reply as I noticed it was in 2005 that you made the plea to check the 1841 census. I have that census covered if you still need it. Please contact me. I too am a a descendant of Thomas and Peggy Camp through their son George who was my gg grandfather.
I have the 1841 Census now but I would be glad to exchange information with you.

Hi there,

I'm new to this as well....although your first post was some time ago. I've got Westaway ancestors, one of whom married Elizabeth Elliot in Nymet Tracey, alias Bow--I am so tickled by that name--in 1800. Shall we compare notes?
