have just joined this site and wondered if any of you might be related to my EMERYS of Crediton and Barnstaple areas of Devon and or the NEWCOMBES of Tawstock,Bideford and Barnstaple

Hi Debbie
as far as I know no Emerys connection but my husband's family name is Newcombe and they were from Crediton and I think Sandford. Haven't got much further than 1820 though.

thank you for your reply.My Newcombes are strictly Barnstaple and Bideford from 1790s onwards.
