Information about Murton Farm near Berwick

Hello -- Can anyone suggest some possible sources of information about Murton Farm, just outside Berwick Upon Tweed -- particularly during the late 18th and early 19th century (tho all info welcome!). It seems to have been a very substantial operation in the area (marked on maps, etc.) so I'm hoping there will be some documentation about it somewhere.

Berwick Upon Tweed Record Office may be able to help - part of Northumberland Archive Service:

A search of 'Google' shows a current occupier of Murton Farm (committee member of NNATA) may be worth writing to him.

And another appears to be a Gun Club using the farm - there is a phone number, but not much else.
