Hi Guys,
My Marron line is pretty busy in Durham. I have seen the name changed in different Census data as above. My Grandmother was Eugenia Marron born 25 Wear Street, Willington on 31 Oct 1897. Her father was Francis Marron (Merron) born in Port Clarence abt 1857. His father was William Marrin born Ireland abt 1831. ANy one with similar name interests don't be bashful and give me a call.;)

Thankyou so much for the kind offer. In particular the surname of MARRON in 1891 would be of interest to me. I have seen the family name change over the Census years. My grandmother's uncles and aunts may be in the South Sheilds area in 1891. Very much appreciated.

For anyone new to censuses, the numbers alongside the address refer to the piece number, the folio number and the page number. Having these numbers means you can go to the right page when viewing the actual census - very useful for those kind folk who do lookups on the images rather than on transcriptions (like me!)
