Hi ChloeD, I would like to take up your very kind offer of a Family History Online lookup if that's still okay. I have hit a brickwall with trying to trace any background details of my 3x great grandfather. He is away at sea and so is not in the 1841-1871 census. The only information is his name from my 2x great grandfather's marriage certificate. I would be very grateful if you could please search for my 3x great grandparent's marriage entry for me. Unfortunately, I do not know whether they were married in Bath, Somerset or in Poole, Dorset so would you mind searching both areas for me please?

Their names are: George JOHNSON and Susan/Susannah ALLEN marriage approximately 1838-1842. The bride's home parish is Poole, Dorset but I have no information on the groom's. I found Susan/Susannah's IGI baptism entry which states that she was baptised at the Independent Chapel in Poole, Dorset so this may be where they were married.

found on free bmd march quarter 1845 poole district, volume 8 , page 125.
cant give you any more detail as family site didnt have it, one of their poole marr records only starts in 1860's.

have u found susan and kids in poole in 1851, i believe they are in oak alley, poole.
