Mary Ann was the daughter of George JOHNSON a miner and Eleanor ..probably BERRY. She was probably christened on 19th Oct. , 1824 in Carville Wesleyan church , Wallsend where there are many JOHNSONs births and marriages.
She married William Maxwell DIXON at Earsdon St. Alban's on 13th November , 1847.
