hi all great wise ones ,
how do i edit an existing thread .
i have put the wrong dates in a thread .

It's actually better to contact one of the Moderators - we can edit at any time. I presume that the thread marked (2) is the correct one, so I will keep that one and delete the other for you.

Edit: As your original post had replies I have corrected the date for you and deleted the duplicate thread.

Hi Dean.

Post a new thread with the correct details. There is a five minute limit on editing.

I think what Finbar meant is that you should make a new post in the existing thread with the new information. Having two threads on the same topic will always be confusing. If you cannot get hold of a Moderator to edit your thread - and there is usually one of us on line - then simply reply to your own post and give the corrected details. This will also move it to the top of New Posts again.
