Bill of Costs of Prosecution

I have found a reference on A2A of 'Lancashire Quarter Sessions Petitions' concerning two references to 'Bill of costs of prosecution' of a named individual. I understand that a Bill of Costs would not contain any details of the case, the crime, the defendant or his family. Is this correct? Could this reference lead to any further documents which might identify whether this is the correct individual or not?

Any pointers would be appreciated.

only indirectly in that itells you that there was a prosecution and if you can find details of that then that might be useful.

There usaully is a list,as a summary, of all the cases heard which will show the name of the person appearing, charge,his/her plea and the sentence given.
There could also be individual sheets for each case which may have a little bit more information.
