Hello Friends
I am seeking assistance from you, especially those amongst us with some experience in old architectural features, to identify a feature of an old country house that is on the outskirts of the village of Glapwell, Derbyshire.
I am not allowed to post an attachment hereto, hence I have pasted in into a page on my web site.
Please may I invite you to visit my website, when the books on the shelf appear, please go to book 5 from the left, click on it and then look at (Volume 10) Glapwell Village. It is a test page to display this feature.
I welcome your suggestions as to this feature. I conject it may be a common feature in some old country houses. I conject this particular house may have been a Dower House connected to nearby former Glapwell Hall.
Fingers crossed between us, we may solve this query.
Kindest regards
Jack (Richards)
