Henry Thomas Sweetland, parents Robert Davis Sweetland and Amelia nee Allen.
Would love to find out more about the Sweetland Cert as on 1871 Census Robert pob is Eston Devon. My Sweetlands come fron this area but I can find no connection to Robert.

Hope this helps. I have the 1851 census for Devon as well, if you'd like me to look up Amelia & Robert.

Note Walwork should read Walworth. We lived in Camberwell in the 1960's!

You can obtain copies of birth certificatesfrom 1837.

Yes Please Shirley.
A look up on the 1851 would be great. '1837online' have started putting the 1861 census on their site but Devon is not one of the counties available.
The cert was bought by mistake and I have been wondering which family Robert belonged to and where he came from.

Did you find the Wiltshire Sweetland as a soldier in Jersey?
