I cannot find the three girls listed below anywhere on the 1881 census !!! :(
I have tried all sorts of different variations of searches. Maybe another set of eyes and brain could find them. I think mine has gone to bed on this one !!! exhausted !!!
On the 1871 census they were all living with their mother at her parents dwelling in St James parish. They were listed as granddaughter to head of household. The mother was listed as a widow. Their surname was spelt incorrect as Jure - transcription error !!!
Sarah Jewer, age 9, b Poole, Dorset. She married in 1885 so is listed on the 1891 and 1901 under her married name.
Betsey Jewer, age 5, b Poole, Dorset. (no other info on her).
Eliza Jewer, age 4, b Poole, Dorset. She married in 1885 also.
If someone could have a look for me and post a message either way so that I know that its not just me that can't find them, that would be great.

Just been looking again. Do you know if Maria married again? I found an entry for an Eliza Jure she is down as dughter in law but unmarried? May be it should step daughter, the mother is a Maria married to an Israel Joyce. In 1875 there was an Israel Joyce was married, there is a Maria Iner and a Maria Juer listed. It looks as though may be some names have been done twice. Just comes across a little odd because they are also living on the same street as in 1871.

JoThanks Jo, i will definetly look into this. I had an idea that Maria might have remarried but that was all. Couldn't find her anywhere, myself, on the 1881 as Jure or Jewer, hence thinking remarried, but to who ??? and what with not being able to find the girls either !!!! Will let you know how I go.

Hi I'll send you the image. It has been transcribed as Eliza Jane Joyce. If anything it looks like Eliza Jare, but the writting is a little smudge there.
