missing Branson

hi,i am looking for a lost aunt.Iiris Branson born in the 1920/30s in Nottingham toWilliam Branson and Rachel Holmes,and if possible her marriage.Ihave tried bmd but have found nothing,unless i need an eye test.thankyou.

Have sent pm with possible siblings, but no sign of Iris unforunately. :confused: I see the parents married Q4 1918, lots of possible children including first children, twins William A and Racheal A in 1920 on FreeBMD.

Could Iris have been a second name which was used instead of the first for some reason?

Squirrelnut, you could have a day out to research this at the Nottinghamshire Archives and find the baptisms of all William and Rachel's children and then possibly your aunt's wedding in the home parish if they didn't move around much.

thanks to everyone trying to find my lost aunt.i know of 10 children Wlliam and Rachel had. between 1920/30s.as one of you have suggested it could be a middle name or one she chose to be known as.cor blimey thats all i need.sorry for not answering sooner computers been playing up again.do appreciate the help.
