Williams, Dagnall, Mort 1860's

I'm looking for the family of Richard Williams c1862 Liverpool. Father Robert Williams. He was married twice. I think his first wife is Sarah Dagnall. They had several children. His second wife is Sarah Mort b.1863 Farnworth. A witness to their marriage is Jane Dagnall (sister of 1st. Sarah???). Richard, Sarah #2 & children imm. to NJ in 1908. Searching for info on any of them! Thanks.

Marriage of Catherine Dagnall & Richard H. Williams in 1878 at St Peter's, Liverpool, Lancashire.

However, in the GRO index I can only find the marriage of a Sarah Dagnall, June quarter 1878, Liverpool registration district, volume 8b page 222. No Catherine. There isn't a corresponding Richard Williams with those details either. Very odd. I can look at the church records next time I go to Liverpool library in a week or so.

I've noticed that it is quite some time since you started this thread & a lot of info has become available online since then. Do you now have the census info for this family? I have found Richard Williams in 1881, 1891 & 1901. Also Sarah Ann Mort in 1871 & 1881. Also her family back to 1841. I can give you the details if you do not already have them.
Sarah Ann Mort married Richard Williams in September quarter 1888, Bolton registration district, volume 8c page 465.
Is your family descended from the Mort or Dagnall line?
