Glass painter - John Davidson

Hi

I am seeking information of my ancestor John Davidson who was a glass painter in Glasgow. He was born in Anderston Glasgow in 1864 and is shown as a glass painter on the 1881 census of Glasgow.

I believe he was a noted artist of the time. I would love to be able to learn more about him.

Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you.
